Ana Maheshwari MD
Dr. Ana Maheshwari completed medical school in India at one of the most prestigious universities, Manipal University. She went on to complete an internal medicine residency and an additional year as a chief resident at Drexel University – Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia. During her training she received awards for her outstanding leadership and dedication as well as the “Exemplar of Professionalism award” by the American College of Physicians. She then did her rheumatology fellowship at Albany Medical Center in New York.
Since completing her training, Dr. Maheshwari worked at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio as a Staff Rheumatologist prior to moving to Orange County, California. Dr. Maheshwari is Double Board Certified in Internal Medicine & Rheumatology.
Dr. Maheshwari aims to provide the highest standard of evidence-based care in a personalized manner with shared decision making. She strives to incorporate her passion for wellness, nutrition, and holistic health when seeing her patients.
Dr. Maheshwari has grown up and travelled extensively through North America, the Middle East, Europe, and India. This has helped her acquire a deep-seated respect and understanding for diverse communities and different cultures. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her two little boys keep her busy when she is not at work.
